About Holy Trinity

The first time a student participates in a FIA activity for his/her class, he/she will receive a Faith in Action t-shirt. The shirt can then be worn on future FIA days.

Kindergarten — will work on various projects that will be given to the Eucharistic Ministers who take communion to the homebound.
1st grade — will be keeping the school grounds clean.
2nd grade — will be making visits to/from the El Cajon fire department.
3rd grade — will be collecting for the food bank. FEMA is no longer able to support the food bank, so it is in dire need of donations. Food collections will start at the end of September and will vary month-to-month. Please look for the banner stating the current collection needs.
4th grade — is working on monthly projects related to the Patron Saints. In addition, an intention book is in the classroom for the kids’ prayer requests.
5th and 8th grade classes — will be visiting the residents at Good Samaritan Retirement Center in El Cajon on the 3rd Wednesday of every month (with the exception of September which will be the last Wednesday of the month) — September 28, October 19, November 16, December 14, January 18, February 15, March 21, April 18, May 16 (last one of the school year). 3:00 – 4:00 pm. Space is limited to 12 students per visit. A signup sheet will be in the 5th and 8th grade classrooms.
6th and 7th grade classes — will be visiting the residents at Little Flower Haven on Memorial Drive in La Mesa. The first visit is Wednesday, October 5th at 3:00 pm. These visits will continue on the first Wednesday of every month. Contact Kristen Schram at schramclan@cox.net to RSVP or for more information.
The 5th through 8th grade students will also have the opportunity to participate in various community outreach projects such as a beach/community clean-up, being a soup kitchen helper during the holidays, etc.
