Parent’s Prayer

Parents can expect the best for their children at Holy Trinity School. Our teachers combine their talents and energy to create an educational program of recognized quality.

Our goal is to lead each child to the fullness of human development and intellectual potential. We do this not only through formal instruction, but also by knowing every child individually. Care is taken to encourage self-esteem while providing a strong academic foundation for each student.

Parents are recognized as the primary educators of their children. As a staff, we realize the importance of teaching values by example. In providing a Christian atmosphere at home, parents reinforce our efforts at school. Educators and parents at Holy Trinity are engaged in a cooperative venture.

Always sign in…

whether you are a visitor or a volunteer, please sign in (and out of) the Visitor/Volunteer book and get a badge. This is a safety issue and alerts school personnel who is on the campus. Also, if something should happen and the school goes into a “lockdown”, we have to know who is on campus and who we need to locate.

It is necessary to sign in the service hour book if you want to get credit for your hours. If you are working lunch duty, health room, or first grade snack duty, etc., please sign in. Thank-you for your cooperation.

Drop Off

Students are to be dropped off at the back gate (exceptions are made for parents/students that are dropping off a student at the preschool). Students arriving before 7:50 am are to be signed in to daycare. Students should be in their classrooms by 8:00 am. Students arriving after the 8:00 am bell are to be dropped off by a parent at the school office to be signed in (by the parent) and to receive a tardy slip. Your cooperation is always appreciated.

Drop off and Pickup Procedure

Electronic Devices

We ask your cooperation in making sure your children do not bring cell phones, iPods, Game Boys/DS games to school or daycare. Electronic devices are not allowed on campus at any time.

Extra Curricular Eligibility

Students must maintain class conduct grades of “S” or “B” or better and demonstrate satisfactory level of effort in each area of study. See page 9 (Extra Curricular Eligibility) of the school Handbook document, or opposite the June 2010 calendar page.

Field Trip – Driver

Parents planning to drive on a field trip are required to have a copy of current auto insurance information and driver’s license on file in the school office. Please make sure your driver information file is up to date at least one week prior to the field trip.

Lost and Found

Please check the Lost and Found bin outside of second grade periodically.

Lunch

Please keep fast food lunches for your children to a minimum. Remember no soft drinks are allowed. If you are bringing a lunch to a student, just take it (with your child’s name on it) to the bench across from the 7th grade classroom and your child will pick it up there.

Parent Directory

Please remember that the directory contains confidential information. Parent emails and phone numbers are for school matters only.

Parent Envelope

Parents, please return the yellow parent envelope the day after distribution. If you have lost or misplaced your parent envelope, please send in $1 for the envelope replacement. We do not want you to miss out on any vital paperwork that is distributed.

Pest Control

Holy Trinity is required to notify parents of the pest control service that takes place the third Saturday of every month. It is our hope to keep Holy Trinity free of insects and vermin activity.

Several opportunities are available to clock in service hours. Please call the office to sign up for lunch duty, snack duty, health room duty, etc.
